Three badges ship with Facecard: Makeup Showdown right now. One is automatic on first join, one is earned by finishing first in any Showdown round, and one is awarded by the developer / community as a rolling "best of the week" pick. The First Lethal Facecard is the only one of the three you can grind in-game; Facecard of the Week has no in-game trigger.

More context

The snapshot numbers below are pulled from Roblox badge listings and the Rolimons / rblxdb badge roster. Actual rates shift as the player base grows, but the rarity tier (Common / Mythic) and the earning trigger are the developer-confirmed ones.

Badge face by trigger

BadgeRaritySnapshot earn rateHow you get it

Joined Facecard: Makeup Showdown

Common

≈100% of players

Awarded the first time you join the game. No action needed.

First Lethal Facecard

Common

≈15.7–18.5% of players

Finish in 1st place in any Showdown round. The badge is account-bound, so multiple firsts do not grant additional copies.

Facecard of the Week

Mythic

<0.1% of players (only 1 awarded at snapshot, ≈1 week after launch)

Picked by the developer / community as that week's standout facecard artist. There is no in-game action that guarantees a selection.

How to earn the First Lethal Facecard badge

  1. Queue into a Showdown session, not Freeplay

Freeplay does not award the badge because no voting round decides a winner.

  2. Submit your facecard before the round timer expires

Voters cannot vote on submissions that never land, and an unsubmitted look defaults to a loss.

  3. Be voted the winning facecard by the other players in the lobby

The player with the most votes in the round is the 1st-place finish that awards the badge.

  4. Repeat across multiple rounds if needed

Multiple first-place finishes do not grant additional copies — the badge is awarded once per account, so the goal is to hit it once.

Facecard of the Week badge

  1. Build a facecard you think is your strongest

Build in either Showdown or Freeplay; the selection is not bound to a Showdown finish, so practice-round templates count.

  2. Post the look in the official community Discord

Post in the channel the developer designates for submissions. The community listing on discord.do / facecard-makeup-showdown aggregates the developer-side description of how winners are picked; that page points to the official Discord as the submission surface.

  3. Win the community vote or get featured by the developer

The Mythic badge is not awarded by lobby vote inside the game; it is awarded by the developer's weekly selection inside the Discord / community showcase.

  4. Wait for the badge to appear on your account

The developer applies the badge once the weekly pick is confirmed; the earn rate on the snapshot was under 0.1% with only one badge awarded at the time of writing. The four voting levers that decide Showdown placement are also the levers to pull when you build a submission worth a Facecard of the Week pick — see the Voting & Winning guide for the same spatial placement, color harmony, contrast and precision criteria applied to Showdown rounds.

How do you earn the First Lethal Facecard badge?

Queue into Showdown (not Freeplay), submit a facecard before the round timer expires, and finish in 1st place by vote. The badge is awarded once per account, so the goal is a single Showdown win.
